Conventional steel plate walls are prone to out-of-plane buckling during shear deformation,resulting in rapid reduction of bearing capacity and poor energy dissipation. Buckling-restrained steel plate walls adjust the construction of energy dissipation zones or increase out-of-plane restraint components to ensure full section yield of the core energy dissipation segment without buckling,exhibiting good energy dissipation capacity and full hysteresis curves.
